French Delicasies

The country of France is renowned for its fantastic food and delicate pastries and it definitely did not disappoint us on that front. Every where we turned in Provence there was a new food stall with tastes special to the area like Callisons in Aix-en-Provence, or Lavender flavoured nougat in Avignon, not to mention all the patisseries and boulangerie’s around Provence and Paris which were home to some very delectable savoury and sweet treats. When we reached Paris there were two places I wanted to visit and that was Fauchon and Laduree, of course. Both famous for their sweet treats, it was absolutely wonderful to experience both of their treats after soo long!

  • When I was in Paris, I visited Laduree and Angelina 😀 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s

    • I missed out on Angelina! Was is good? I’ve heard such great things! xxx

      • I can’t say for sure because my family and I bought a bunch of pastries and then ate them the next day so they weren’t fresh, but they were still good! I enjoyed the classic Mont Blanc especially 🙂

        • If they were still good the next day, then I can only imagine what they would be like fresh! xx
